Volunteers are needed to drive a four-person golf cart (Trolley) throughout the Hilton Head Hospital campus.
The Trolley is a valuable and much appreciated service on our Hilton Head Hospital campus. It is operated by a dedicated team of volunteers on weekdays from 9:00-4:00 PM, transporting patients and visitors between the various parking lots and buildings on hospital grounds. All who need or want a ride are welcome to use this free service. A team of trolley drivers drive throughout the year and in all kinds of weather and typically transport 80 to100 people per day.
Volunteer activities include the following:
- Ability to drive 4-person Golf Cart
- Enjoy being outside.
- Interacts with staff, patients, and patient families.
Additional Details:
- Be able to commit to volunteering once a week for a four-hour shift.
- Able to follow and execute instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
