Volunteers are needed to help remove trash and marine debris from the Broad Creek by kayak or by walking the creek banks. Our clean up will take place Sunday November 18th at Shelter Cove Marina, HHI, from 1pm until 5pm. Volunteers may arrive anytime between 1 and 3pm and should check in at the Outside Hilton Head kiosk located directly in front of the Marina Store and ELA's restaurant at the end of Shelter Cove lane. Plenty of parking is available.
To reserve a kayak (no charge) please call 843-686-6996. Kayak rentals are limited. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own kayaks as well. All clean up supplies (bags, gloves, grabbers) and snacks will be supplied. Please bring your own water. Closed toed shoes are recommended.
