Description

Hopeful Horizons’ volunteers are an indispensable part of our organization. We are able to provide 24/7 crisis intervention services only through the concerted efforts of our pool of dedicated supporters willing to donate their time. Each of our volunteers receives 25 hours of mandatory training to ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to work directly with survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. Our volunteers help by staffing the crisis hotline, accompanying victims to the hospital or to court, assist with various duties at the emergency shelter, and help in our prevention and outreach services and activities.
