Volunteers are invited to join The Outside Foundation to place shucked oyster shell in mesh bags. These bags will be used to restore shoreline and create new oyster reef here on Hilton Head Island. Interested volunteers will meet at the shell dump site at Honey Horn Plantation (its in the big field on the left side after entering the main gate). Please wear old clothes and closed toed shoes. While some activities do require lifting their are activities that require no lifting.Please bring a water bottle. We will provide gloves and all the supplies necessary to fill the bags.
