We are looking for volunteers interested in getting involved with the South Carolina chapter of the Alzheimer's Association by becoming a community educator, our greatest need for programs! This position entails the following:
- Present a workshop: Deliver community education programs or awareness presentations using prepared training materials on topics related to Alzheimer’s disease, other dementias and memory loss as well as information for individuals and families impacted by the disease.
Currently, we are working to expand our reach and establish relationships in Mount Pleasant and do not have any volunteers in this area. We also need volunteers for Orangeburg County, as this is an area of high disease prevalence. Nonetheless, we welcome volunteers from any location!
