The Farmers Market of Bluffton, a weekly community event where locals and tourists gather not only to buy excellent produce but also to enjoy delicious food, listen to entertainment, and relax with friends. Located in historic downtown, this family friendly market showcases local growers, local food vendors, local entertainment, local community causes and local information about the Bluffton area. Memory Matters attend every 2nd Thursday of the month.

What will volunteers do?

Greet locals and visitors at our tent and share information about the programs and services Memory Matters provides. Brochures and flyers will be available on the resource table to hand to the public. A Memory Matters staff member will set up and break down the tent and resource table at the start and end of the day. Hours Noon - 2pm and 2pm-4pm

What will volunteers need to bring or wear?

Bring water and a chair. We have a tent which offers some shade. It gets very warm in the summer.

What should volunteers know about the location?

 Located along Boundry Street at Martin Family Park (one block off Calhoun Street). This is an outdoor event, street parking where available, in addition to the Bluffton library parking lot.

Inclement Weather Plan: In inclement weather the market may be cancelled, the volunteer coordinator will advise. The resource table will be located under a tent, giving shelter from sun and showers.
