Volunteer to Build
Build days are Tuesdays through Fridays, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. /noon Please arrive promptly.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to work on a Habitat construction site. No construction experience is needed as skilled supervision will be provided. Please do not come directly to the build site, but sign up in advance by emailing our Volunteer Coordinator at Candace@lowcountryhabitat.org. To volunteer on Tuesday through Friday, sign up is required by 9 am on the preceding Monday, at the latest. To volunteer on Saturday, sign up is required by 9 am on the preceding Friday, at the latest.
If you are an individual or part of a group and would like to get started working on a build site, there are just a few simple steps that you need to follow.
You must first attend our volunteer orientation. Oriented construction volunteers are emailed our weekly Construction Update each Monday. Check your schedule and if you wish to volunteer, simply email our Volunteer Coordinator at Candace@lowcountryhabitat.org so that we will know to expect you and plan accordingly.
