The Board meets once a month to discuss business and plan events. No experience required. The positions that are currently available are:
Marketing/Social Media Coordinator
Responsibilities include:
- Website management: develop and update content, ensure domain registration/hosting services are current, ensure functionality working, perform updates and redesign as needed
- Social Media Management: design and implement strategy, develop, post, and update content, analyze engagement, identify trends in order to grow the online community (Note: currently FOL only has a presence on Facebook but will want to expand to other outlets.)
- Marketing: develop and design promotional activities to promote and grow membership and increase fundraising including but not limited to membership communication (Constant Contact), events, posters, articles, etc.
- Attendance at Monthly Board Meetings and other FOL functions as needed.
