Are you a History buff? Enjoy meeting and interacting with new people? Our Volunteer Docents provide guided tours of the Heyward House Museum and offer general information about the area to visitors from all over the world. This volunteer opportunity is flexible enough to fit any schedule. Even if you call the Lowcountry home for part of the year, we would love to have you join our team!
We provide training and you choose your 3-hr shifts.
- Monday-Friday mornings from 10am-1pm, and afternoons from 1pm-4pm
- Saturdays from 11am-2pm
We are currently in great need of docents in the afternoons and on Friday mornings!
