Pockets Full of Sunshine hosted the 2019 “Fun in the Sun for EVERYONE” day on Friday, June 7 from 10:00 – 12:00 pm on the beach in front of Marriott’s Surf Watch on Hilton Head Island. Over 200 individuals with special needs and their friends & families of all ages and abilities were able to enjoy a special day of beach fun!
Activities included: paddle boarding, boogie boarding, surfing, beach games, face painting, music and more! Thank you to the lifeguards and volunteers who made the day run smoothly and helped to ensure a safe environment for all. We need volunteers to be a beach ambassador who encourage the families and participants to get involved with beach games. In addition, we are always looking for surfing, paddleboarding and boogie boarding volunteers.
