Bluffton Jasper County Volunteers in Medicine (BJVIM) serves as a medical home providing free medical, dental, and mental health care for uninsured neighbors who live or work in greater Bluffton and Jasper County. Here, volunteer physicians can focus on what matters most: listening to patients and providing thoughtful, compassionate care without the pressure of high patient volumes or insurance billing requirements.
Primary Care Physicians may choose to volunteer at either or both of our clinics located in Bluffton, SC, and Ridgeland, SC. Volunteer physicians must hold a current, active medical license and be comfortable using computers and electronic clinical systems. Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts are available Monday through Thursday. A minimum commitment of eight hours, or two shifts, per month is required.
