Volunteers are needed to join The Outside Foundation on Sunday, February 24 from 11am to 4 pm at Shelter Cove Marina for a kayak-based clean up of the Broad Creek salt marsh. No experience is necessary - families are welcome. You may reserve a free kayak, going your own kayak or walk the salt marsh banks and surrounding area to collect trash and marine debris. All clean up supplies (gloves, bags and grabbers) are supplies as well as snacks. Bring your own reusable water bottle - we will provide extra water.
Our start location will be the docks directly in front of the Marina Store and ELA's Grill at Shelter Cove Marina.
Volunteers may arrive anytime between 11am and 3 pm.
