To celebrate the 50th anniversary of EARTH DAY on April 22, 2020 The Outside Foundation will partner with the SCDNR's S.C.O.R.E. (SC Oyster Restoration and Enhancement Program to host a shucked oyster shell bagging event. Te event will take place from 3-4:30pm at the Honey Horn Plantation (Coastal Discovery Museum). The shells that our bagged at this event will be used by the SCDNR to restore oyster beds and shoreline near HHI. Interested volunteers should meet at the bagging site (just inside the main gate/entrance of Honey Horn Plantation - left side, near the open field). Please wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed toed shoes. Gloves will be provided. Please bring a refillable water bottle. Must be at least 12 years of age. Questions?
