Public Tennis Inc. is looking for supportive and enthusiastic volunteers to serve as tennis "coaches" during Physical Education (PE) classes at the public Elementary Schools and at after school programs. Through the Schools Program, we introduce children to tennis at an early age and make tennis accessible to children who might not otherwise have opportunity to learn to play. Our objective is to transfer knowledge of tennis to PE teachers and program coordinators so they can make tennis a regular part of their curriculum. Learning is accelerated by the use of small racquets, low compression balls, and teaching techniques which make tennis fun! Programs are flexible -- volunteer when and where you can!
