Who We Are
Public Tennis Inc. (PTI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization serving Beaufort County, SC. We are committed to making tennis affordable and accessible, to growing tennis as a sport, and to bringing the therapeutic, athletic, and social benefits of tennis to those with special needs. To these ends, we introduce tennis to youngsters, we build sustainable programs for players of all abilities, and we advocate for maintenance and creation of public facilities. We are an accredited USTA “Community Tennis Association” (CTA), and we an NJTL Chapter of the USTA Foundation.
What We Do
Public Tennis provides affordable tennis programs for youth, adults, and special needs players on public courts in Beaufort County and Jasper County. Our program partners include Island Rec, Beaufort County Parks & Rec, SOAR and Special Olympics, Beaufort County Schools, and various afterschool and outreach programs.
