Over 18 - A documentary screening on the impact of pornography on children

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Did you know that:

You can prevent child abuse by learning about the devastating impact pornography has on children. Knowledge is power. Choose to have the facts about this silent epidemic that has such a devastating impact on our children and society! Join us for a free community screening of a documentary titled Over 18. Over 18 is a clear-eyed examination of modern pornography and its effects on kids, teens, parents, and porn stars. The goal of the project is to educate youth on the realities of pornography, help their parents understand the growing epidemic of hardcore porn usage, and propose solutions for preventing exposure and addiction in the first place.

A brief expert panel discussion will follow right after the screening. There is no explicit content but it is a mature topic, and we encourage parents and caregivers to attend with middle and high school-aged children. It would be highly effective for parents and caregivers to watch with their youth and be able to discuss afterward.
