Love For Therapeutic Riding

With the Lord's help, LOVE for Therapeutic Riding will enhance the quality of life for our physically, mentally, emotionally or socially challenged riders with safe, sequentially planned equine assisted activities, professionally taught in our Beaufort SC area.

LOVE for Therapeutic Riding was incorporated in July 2008. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

LOVE for Therapeutic Riding became operational in September 2009, on St. Helena Island, SC, near Beaufort SC, with three equestrian athletes with mental disabilities. With the faith of our Lord providing for our needs, our growth  was made possible by several dear friends who also have faith for this type of therapeutic program.

In the future we will be having fundraising projects and asking for general public donations.

Our certified instructor, with the help of many dedicated volunteers and specially trained horses, enable riders to benefit from alternative therapeutic techniques away from the normal "clinical" setting.

LOVE for Therapeutic Riding is entirely operated by volunteers and volunteer certified instructor, with 100% of all donations and funds received going right back into the LOVE for Therapeutic Riding program.

LOVE for Therapeutic Riding is a non-profit member center of PATH Int'l, a leader in Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT).
