Meals On Wheels

Meals-on Wheels, Bluffton-Hilton Head, Inc. is a local charitable organization dedicated to providing prepared meals to people who need meal assistance on a short term or long term basis because of illness, injury or age-related issues with mobility.

Meals-on-Wheels in this area is wholly dependent on contributions from local charities and agencies, service organizations, churches, individuals, and payments from clients.

Meals -on-Wheels delivers meals to those who are elderly, ill, injured, or disabled and cannot shop and prepare meals themselves.  Income is never a factor. We deliver a healthy, hot meal five days a week.  Volunteer drivers pick up meals mid-Island and deliver them to homes on Hilton Head and in Bluffton. There are 7 routes and it typically takes less than 2 hours to complete a route. Drivers may choose to drive 1-4 times a month or every other month.  We are flexible with drivers' availability.
