Alzheimer's Association, SC Chapter

The Alzheimer's Association is the largest non-profit funder of Alzheimer's Disease and all other dementia. This organization leads the way by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

The Alzheimer’s Association provides services to the entire state of South Carolina. We operate through a network of local offices. Our Lowcountry area office is located in Mount Pleasant, but we go wherever we are needed. We're here for individuals and families facing any type of dementia. Our support groups are led by trained volunteers and are offered regularly. Our community education programs feature information on topics such as diagnosis, warning signs, communication, living with Alzheimer’s disease and caregiving techniques.
