Volunteer: Antioch Scholarsthis is a nine-year-old program that takes average students, during their first year of school, and provides a daily afterschool venue where the basic areas of study are offered while also inserting public speaking, leadership, and other skills that will help to lead to a very successful lifestyle. This dynamic program also includes one weekend of travel each month as well as a full week of national and international travel during the summer months. Although suspended during the height of COVID, students enrolled in this program have already visited places such as Mexico, Canada, Seattle, Washington DC Baltimore, Atlanta, and Miami…just to name a few. Because of its many advantages, this program is limited to no more than 25 students at any given time. This program needs teacher assistants, food preppers, reading instructors and chaperones.
