Some of the responsibility of a volunteer coach includes but it’s not limited to: supervising assistant coaches and team parents, teaching young athletes the fundamental of sports, attending all league functions and participate in league activities/coaches meetings. All volunteers must be approved by the association. A volunteer coach must successfully pass a background check, attend scheduled coaching meetings, and have knowledge of the sport.
