Volunteer: VolunteersIsland House, a program of Mental Health America of Beaufort/Jasper counties is currently seeking volunteers to assist in a variety of groups for our clients. We serve adults that have been diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness. A vital part of a positive recovery in mental health is socialization. Playing games, having positive conversations and helping out in the kitchen for lunch preparation are all areas where we have a need.
