Volunteers are needed to assist elementary or middle school members who need help with math skills.  The commitment is Wednesdays from 3:00 – 4:30.  Training will be provided.

Garden enthusiasts teach members (ages 6 -11) on all aspects of gardening. Our garden has various vegetables, flowers, fruits, plants thriving under the love and care of our volunteer gardeners and members.

We are looking for volunteers to work with our elementary-aged (ages 6 - 11) with internet safety, computer keyboarding and using computers for educational purposes.

We are looking for volunteers to teach and facilitate fun science concepts using the DIY STEM curriculum leaning using snap circuits, Squishy Circuits, Makey Makey and other hands-on materials.

Students sign up to practice reading skills by reading to a trained dog. Must have Good Canine Citizen Certification or be a certified trained therapy dog. The dog must be comfortable being around children and teens ages 6 - 18.

The Money Matters program was created by Boys & Girls clubs of America, in partnership with Charles Schwab Foundation, to provide behavior-changing financial education to help teens get on the path toward budgeting, saving, planning for college and financial freedom. The Money Matters program is comprised of a core curriculum divided among five units. Each unit addresses a key Money Matters theme, and the activities are designed to put that theme into a real world context for members. these five topics are the ones most relevant to BGCA teen members, reaching them at a time when their behavior as earners, spenders and savers can be most influenced.

The Boys and Girls Club of Bluffton is seeking volunteers to help our members learn how to use the electronic keyboard piano. We have a set of 12 electric keyboard pianos waiting to be used! If you are interested in sharing your passion for music, please contact linda.pace@bgclowcountry.org. 

If you have a passion for theatre and drama, we are looking for you to inspire our elementary-aged members (ages 6 - 11) to learn theatre and drama. Maybe perform plays and musicals for our club and community.
