Who We Are
Over the past year, 10,000 abandoned, injured, abused animals and feral cats have been cared for by Hilton Head Humane. We spay/neuter and release feral cats and provide food, shelter, medical, and loving care for the domesticated cats and dogs until adoptive homes are found.
Our organization, dedicated to providing a safe haven for the abandoned cats and dogs of the Lowcountry, is funded entirely by membership dues, private donations, and generous bequests.
Enrich your life with a beautiful and healthy new family member. They are waiting for you.
Our Mission Statement:
To improve the lives of homeless dogs and cats while also working to substantially lower the numbers of animals reproduced or relinquished.
What We Do
Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer at Hilton Head Humane . Our main yearly goals are 1,600+ adoptions of pets in need and to adequately man our thrift store, The Litter Box. We cannot accomplish our objective without generous people like you.
Volunteers are also vital for assisting in our evacuation efforts during hurricane emergencies.
If you would like to becoming a part of our family through volunteering your services, please contact our shelter manager, Brittany Bennington, at kennelsupervisor@hhhumane.org.
