Family Promise of the Lowcountry

Family Promise programs are proven to break the cycle of homelessness Through our life skills training and support programs, 91% of families who participate in our Housing Programs remain in permanent housing after one year. Our programs include our Homeless Prevention Program, Shelter Diversion Program, Freedom House Shelter Program, and Stabilization Program. We are funded by local government grants; individual and community donors; fundraising events, and businesses. In-kind contributions and donations also support families. We could not be successful without the backing of our local community.

We are dedicated to ensuring every child and family experiencing homelessness in our community has a place to call home. Our new name reflects our expanded reach. It means we can help more children and their families in more communities than ever.
